Homeopathy Treatment New England Heritage

Al Gray - Thursday, May 27, 2010
Homeopathy did rebound after the original attack in the 1800’s, to the point of the early 1900s, where they had twenty two medical schools, more than a hundred hospitals, and 1000 + pharmacies. The way things were going, if there had been no smears and attacks, it would have only been a matter of time before homeopathy would be, by far, the most popular choice of health care in the United States

Homeopathic Remedies For Asthma

Al Gray - Thursday, May 06, 2010
There are many remedies that can be effective in treating allergic reactions, depending upon the type of allergy, time and location of reaction, affinity for warmth or cold, and emotional state. If a remedy is well suited for your condition, your will experience immediate improvement or, in some cases, a healing crisis (a brief worsening of symptoms followed by improvement). If symptoms persist, however, it indicates an incorrect potency, dosage, or remedy, or perhaps deeper underlying problems. As with all medicinal substances, one should be cautious in self-prescribing homeopathic remedies and seek professional medical advice before beginning a homeopathic course of treatment.

Homeopathy for Obesity

Al Gray - Thursday, May 06, 2010
Homeopathic medicines can help you lose weight by improving digestion, elimination, and metabolism. But the medicines need to be individually prescribed, based on your own unique pattern of symptoms. Constitutional treatment is most appropriate, but some of the following remedies might be useful.

Homeopathic Remedies for Urinary Tract Infection

Al Gray - Thursday, May 06, 2010
Homeopathic remedies are often helpful during bladder infections (cystitis), relieving discomfort and encouraging quick recovery. Symptoms include a frequent urge to urinate with burning or stinging sensations, and sometimes aching in the bladder area. Offensive-smelling, cloudy, or discolored urine may be passed. Very uncomfortable or long-lasting urinary tract infections—especially those accompanied by fever, pain in the kidney region, or other serious symptoms—should be treated by a doctor. Evidence Is Clear That Homeopathy Is Not An Effective Treatment, Australia

Al Gray - Thursday, May 06, 2010
Prof Edzard Ernst, Director of Complementary Medicine at the University of Exeter, UK, writes that about 150 controlled clinical trials have been published on homeopathy - a therapeutic method that often uses highly diluted preparations of substances that, when administered to healthy people, create the same effects as the disorder in the unwell patient. Prof Ernst said in situations where the results of these trials were neither all negative nor all positive, some commentators resorted to "cherry picking" those findings that fit their own preconceptions.

Efficacy of a potentized homoeopathic drug (Arsenicum Album-30) in reducing genotoxic effects produced by arsenic trioxide in mice: comparative studies of pre-, post- and combined pre- and post-oral administration and comparative efficacy of two microdose

Al Gray - Thursday, May 06, 2010

From Datta et al, the authors found that pre- and post- feeding of homœopathically prepared Arsenicum album 30C and 200C to mice exposed to arsenic tri- oxide reduced the genotoxic effects (chromosome aberrations, micronucleated erythrocytes and sperm head anomaly) of arsenic when compared to controls.
